1st Annual State of the Base

Join us on Joint Base McGuire Dix Lakehurst to see and hear first-hand the bases' role in our national defense.
Hear about the missions from the men and women who serve.
Learn how to hire spouses and do business with JBDML.
Demonstrations and more.

Join us for the morning briefing or choose the full-day pass for an immersive tour.

The briefing will be comprised of four primary categories:

  • Building a Winning Culture
  • Fortifying Base Infrastructure
  • Strengthening Civic Partnerships
  • Equipping Warriors & Families for Success

Each category aligns with the Defense Department’s National Military Strategy, which is issued by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and provides a strategic framework for how the Joint Force executes overall policy goals.


All attendees must comply with base access regulations.
Tour participants must stay for the duration of the tour.

11:30 AM: Morning Session Concludes: Networking, Static Displays, and Information Fair
11:45 AM: Optional Lunch and Tour Session Lunch Open
12:45 PM: Tour Begins
3:30 PM: Tour Ends


Tour participants must stay on the tour for the duration.

Joint Base McGuire Dix Lakehurst - 87th ABW

Event is located in a hangar. Dress for the weather as doors will be open at times for static displays.

Signage will direct attendees to parking and Dock 1.
